Steps
[marinate]
- In a bowl, add beef chuck, knorr liquid seasoning, soy sauce, salt, pepper and lemon juice.
- Mix them well and set aside. (About more than 4 hours to get food marination)
[cooking]
- Press SAUTE and set to More (high heat)
- Wait for the pot to warm up then add Olive Oil
- Add onion and garlic and saute
- Add the marinated beef
- Cook the beef until it turns brown
- Add All Purpose Flour and mix
- Add Tomato Paste and mix
- Add Oregano, Red Pepper Flakes, Paprika, Thyme, Bay Leaves
- Add Beef Bouillon
- Add Red Wine
- Mix well
- Add Water
- Press CANCEL
- Put the lid on and close it
- Press STEW and cook for 30 minutes
- After cooking for 30 minutes, wait for a couple of minutes (15 – 20 minutes) to naturally release the pressure
- Depressurize and wait until the pressure is completely out (check if the floating valve is down)
- Once the floating valve is down, you can open the lid
- Give a quick stir
- Press SAUTE and set to Normal (mid heat) – press the SAUTE multiple times to adjust the heat level
- At this point, you may remove some excess oil
- Add the potatoes and the carrots
- Add Green Olives
- Simmer until the vegetables are soft
- You may add sugar, salt, pepper to adjust the taste
- Press CANCEL once the vegetables are soft
- Serve it!
