Hummus is a Middle Eastern dip, spread, or savory dish made from cooked, mashed chickpeas blended with tahini, lemon juice, and garlic. The standard garnish in the Middle East includes olive oil, a few whole chickpeas, parsley, and paprika.
In this recipe, I made the plain and simple Hummus that everyone can enjoy along with the flatbread or naan, or with the crackers. Using KitchenAid Food Processor, this homemade hummus is super easy to make. Try this recipe and have some homemade hummus ready at home!

- 1/4 cup Lemon Juice – https://amzn.to/3dRC9Qe
- 2 pcs Garlic Cloves – https://amzn.to/3aGuq5I

- 3 tbsp Water
- 1 tsp Pink Salt – https://amzn.to/3tRJ5CB
- 1/2 tsp Cumin – https://amzn.to/34iU4db
- Pinch of Pepper (optional) – https://amzn.to/3sTCjuC

Steps
- In a bowl, pour the can of Garbanzo Beans
- Peel the skin of the Garbanzo Beans
- Add water to in the bowl this will help to separate the skin from the beans
- Remove all the peeled skins and drain water
- Set aside the beans
- Add Lemon Juice, tahini, garlic in the food processor and start blending
- Add the beans, pink salt
- Continue blending
- While blending, add olive oil
- Add water little by little and check the consistency
- Add cumin and blend some more
- Once all the ingredients are well blended and achieve the consistency you wanted transfer the hummus in a plate or bowl
- Topping with olive oil and paprika
- Serve with flatbread, naan, pita bread or crackers
