- 1 cup Pasta Water
Steps
[pasta]
- Boil Pasta
- After pasta is cooked, set aside 1 cup of pasta water
- Drain rest of the water and set aside the pasta

- Add olive oil and butter in the pan
- Add garlic and saute
- Add red chili pepper, cherry tomatoes and continue to saute
- Season with salt and pepper
- Add fresh basil
- Add parmesan cheese
- Add garlic powder
- Lower the heat, cover and simmer for about 15 minutes or until the liquid is reduced
- Add pasta water and continue to simmer
- Add pasta and mix
- Add fresh basil, parmesan cheese, red chili flakes and parsley
- Serve it!
