How to Make Mayak Eggs (Soft Boiled Marinated Eggs) Recipe

Mayak Eggs or Mayak Gyeran (마약계란) is a Soft Boiled Eggs marinated in the soy sauce based marinade sauce. It is so soft, tasty and addictive eggs that easy to make.

Ingredients

Serves 3 – 4

Steps

  1. Add water in a pot and bring it to a boil
  2. Once boiled, lower the heat
  3. Add eggs (no need to put in room temperature. You can get the eggs directly from the fridge)
  4. Boil eggs for 7-8 minutes if you want the runny yolk. 9-10 minutes to make the yolk bit more firmed.
  5. After boiling eggs, remove it from the pot and put in the ice cold water
  6. Peel the shell of the eggs and set a side
  7. Add ingredients of marinade sauce and mix well
  8. Put the boiled egg in the marinade sauce
  9. Marinate the eggs overnight
  10. After overnight, serve the eggs on top of the freshly cooked white rice
