Ingredients

340g mung bean sprouts

1 tbsp sesame seeds

Chopped scallions for garnish (optional)

Seasonings:

2 tbsp sesame oil

1 1/2 tsp soy sauce

Salt to taste

Freshly ground black pepper

1 1/2 tsp Japanese Seven Spice Powder (Shichimi) (Optional)

Steps

How to make the seasonings:

  1. Put all the seasoning ingredients listed above
  2. Boil water and put the sprouts (boil for 30 sec)
  3. Drain the water and cool down the bean sprouts
  4. Mix the bean sprouts with the seasonings
  5. Add 1 tbsp of sesame seeds
  6. Serve it
