Ingredients

Serves 3 – 4


Steps

  1. Prepare water with liquid from whole kernel corn can
  2. Add chicken broth powder to the water
  3. Heat the pot and add butter
  4. Add onion and saute
  5. Once the onion is cooked, add the whole kernel corn
  6. Continue to cook
  7. Add salt and pepper, bay leaf and all purpose flour
  8. Once the flour is cooked, add the water
  9. Add the water little by little while mixing
  10. Simmer for 3 minutes
  11. Turn off the heat, remove the bay leaf
  12. Use a hand blender to mash the corn
  13. Add milk and warm up the soup 
  14. Turn off the heat and strain the soup
  15. Put the soup back in the pot
  16. Heat up the soup for one last time
  17. Add nutmeg, heavy cream
  18. Turn off the heat
  19. Serve it!
