About this recipe
When the summer heat starts to get intense, there’s nothing better than a cool, refreshing drink to help you chill out—and that’s exactly why I created this Gulaman recipe. Inspired by warm afternoons and the need for something light yet satisfying, this classic Filipino favorite is both delicious and incredibly easy to make. Using Grass Jelly as the star ingredient, it’s a simple mix of jelly cubes, sweet syrup, and ice-cold water that instantly quenches your thirst and refreshes your spirit.
What I love most about this recipe is how versatile and nostalgic it is. It reminds me of childhood summers, grabbing icy Filipino Drinks from local vendors. Now, you can recreate that same feeling right at home with just a few ingredients. Plus, you can get creative—add a splash of milk or a scoop of crushed ice for extra creaminess and chill.
If you’re searching for the ultimate Summer Refreshing Drinks, this Gulaman recipe is definitely one to add to your list. It’s quick, it’s fun, and most importantly, it’s the perfect way to cool down when the sun is blazing. One sip and you’ll be hooked!
