Bubble tea (also known as pearl milk tea, bubble milk tea, or boba) (Chinese: 珍珠奶茶; pinyin: zhēnzhū nǎichá, 波霸奶茶; bōbà nǎichá) is a Taiwanese tea-based drink invented in Tainan and Taichung in the 1980s. Recipes contain tea of some kind, flavors of milk, and sugar (optional).
In this video, trying to make the simplest yet delicious homemade Boba Milk Tea. Hope you enjoy making one yourself!
Ingredients:
5 cups water
10 bags of black tea

1 cup milk

1/3 cup honey

1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk

1/2 cup brown sugar

2 cups black tapioca pearl

Steps:
[Prep the tea]
1. Prepare hot water for making a tea
2. Steep tea bags for 4 minutes or so (ratio is 2 tea bags per cup of hot water)
[Boba]
1. Boil water
2. Add black tapioca pearl once the water is boiled
3. Boil it for 8 minutes
4. Turn off the heat and leave it for another 10 minutes with residual heat
5. Drain, add a cup of water and brown sugar
6. Mix it and set aside for a couple of minutes
[Milk Tea]
1. Remove the tea bags
2. Add honey, sweetened condensed milk, and milk
[Boba Milk Tea]
1. Add boba in the glass
2. Add ice
3. Add milk tea
4. Serve it!
