Tonkatsu is a Japanese Breaded Pork Cutlet. It is a popular lunch menu for the Salary Man in Japan. In this recipe, you can make the authentic Tonkatsu like the one you can eat in Japan.
Ingredients:

1 cup Milk (https://amzn.to/30fdBKV )
2 Eggs
2 cups Flour (https://amzn.to/2TKBhTS ) – check the amount based on your usage
3 cups Panko-Bread crumbs (https://amzn.to/2TKHkrB )
6 tsp Salt (https://amzn.to/2MaIEOS ) – split this for meat, flour and milk egg mixture
6 tsp Pepper

Steps:
1. Cut the meat in about one-inch thick
2. Use meat tenderizer to soften the meat
3. Put some cuts on the edges of the meat to prevent curling when deep fried
4. Use a fork or stainless steel blade meat tenderizer to make the meat even softer. This will also help to cook through the meat when you deep fried
5. Season both sides of meat with salt and pepper
6. Prepare the batter
7. Add eggs, salt and pepper in the milk and beat
8. Add salt and pepper in the flour and mix
9. Coat the meat in order of flour, milk egg and panko
10. Prepare a pan with cooking oil
11. Drop a piece of Panko bread crumbs to check if oil reaches the good temperature
12. Put in the meat (adjust the heat lower it if you see a lot of bubbles to prevent from burn it)
13. Flip the meat once the bottom side turned golden brown
14. Continue to cook the remain side
15. Once cooked, put on the strainer to let the oil drip
16. Cut the Tonkatsu in strip
17. Serve it!
