About This Dish
This is a very popular dessert in Japan, especially kids love this dish. It is very light taste and easy to eat. If you love light sweets, you would love this dessert dish!

Ingredients:
Custard:

500cc milk (https://amzn.to/30fdBKV)
100g sugar (https://amzn.to/2NiwJ4z)
A pinch of salt (https://amzn.to/2MaIEOS)
1 tsp vanilla extract (https://amzn.to/30ivoAX)
Caramel:
1/4 cup sugar
1 tbsp water
Procedures:
Caramel:
1. Add sugar and water in the pan
2. Heat up (medium heat)
3. Keep boiling the mixture until it turns brown
Observe and adjust the heat to avoid overburn the caramel
4. Once the caramel reached your desired color (darker the bitter), pour it in the container where the custard mixture will be poured in later.
Custard:
1. Warm the milk
Don’t overheat, it should be lukewarm only
2. Beat the eggs
Don’t overbeat the eggs (avoid making bubbles)
3. Add sugar, salt and milk
4. Continue mixing
5. Add vanilla extract and mix
6. Strain the mixture once or twice to get the smooth custard texture
7. Preheat the oven to 320 F
8. Pour the custard mixture in the container where the caramel was poured
9. Cover the container with foil
10. Prepare a pan with hot water and place the container in
11. Bake the pudding for 40 minutes
12. Poke with toothpick, if the custard is not sticking, it is done
13. Cool it down in the fridge for a couple of hours or overnight for better taste
