How to Make Impossible Burger – Japanese Style Salisbury Steak Recipe

This is a Japanese Style Salisbury Steak using Plant-based meat (it is actually not meat, but it looks like meat!) So easy to make and if you are vegetarian and wanted to enjoy a burger steak, try this recipe!

Ingredients

Serves 4

Note: Adjust the amount of all purpose flour based on your preferences. If the patty is too watery, add some more all purpose flour.

Steps

  1. Mince onion then add a few drops of the cooking oil
  2. Wrap and heat in the microwave for about 2 minutes
  3. Uncover and reheat for another 1 minute
  4. Set aside 1 tbsp in a separate bowl (for the sauce)
  5. Add breadcrumbs and milk to the onion
  6. Mix
  7. Add beaten egg and mix then set aside
  8. In a separate bowl, add Impossible Burger meat
  9. Add salt, Worcestershire sauce
  10. Mix well
  11. Add the binder (onion mixture) in the ground meat
  12. Mix well
  13. Put oil on your hand
  14. Shape the ground meat
  15. Remove air from the meat
  16. Place the burger patty on a pan and cook in the mid-high heat
  17. Once the oil is turning brown, ready to flip it to cook the other side
  18. Cook the other side until it turns brown
  19. Remove from the pan, add the sauce and serve it!
