Adobo is an authentic Filipino dish. There are many types of Adobo recipes. In this recipe, I’m making the Chicken Adobo marinated with soy sauce, lemon-lime soda, and pepper to make the adobo more flavorful. And with the use of Instant Pot, making this dish easier to cook.

- 1 cup Lemon Lime Soda – https://amzn.to/3vfVlzD
- 5 pcs Bay Leaves – https://amzn.to/3zy4pSQ
- 1/4 cup Soy Sauce – https://amzn.to/3PR0jdV
- 1/4 cup White Vinegar – https://amzn.to/3ovBlVD
- 2 tsp Pepper – https://amzn.to/3ouNwlJ
- 1 pc Chicken Bouillon Cubes – https://amzn.to/3cDmJAY
Steps
- Marinate chicken with soy sauce, lemon lime soda, pepper for about 30 minutes to an hour
- Press SAUTE on Instant Pot
- Once the pot is heated, start sauteing the chicken. Flip to cook both sides
- Once chicken is cooked, set aside
- Saute garlic and add back the chicken and the marinade sauce
- Add bay leaves, white vinegar, pepper and chicken bouillon cube and give a little stir
- Press CANCEL
- Put the lid on, select MEAT, cook for 3 minutes
- Depressurize
- Serve it!
