- 2 and 1/2 cup Water (including the liquid from whole kernel corn can)

Steps
- Prepare water with liquid from whole kernel corn can
- Add chicken broth powder to the water
- Heat the pot and add butter
- Add onion and saute
- Once the onion is cooked, add the whole kernel corn
- Continue to cook
- Add salt and pepper, bay leaf and all purpose flour
- Once the flour is cooked, add the water
- Add the water little by little while mixing
- Simmer for 3 minutes
- Turn off the heat, remove the bay leaf
- Use a hand blender to mash the corn
- Add milk and warm up the soup
- Turn off the heat and strain the soup
- Put the soup back in the pot
- Heat up the soup for one last time
- Add nutmeg, heavy cream
- Turn off the heat
- Serve it!
