Champorado is every Filipino’s favorite merienda and for sure you will like it too even you’re not a Filipino. In this recipe, I made a Nutella Champorado using Instant Pot.
If you like Ferrero-Rocher chocolate, you are going to like this recipe! Nutella Chocolate Spread gives an extra richness of chocolate but it is just the right amount of sweetness!
It is a dump and go recipe, all you have to do is put all the ingredients in the Instant Pot and go!

Ingredients
Serves 4 to 5
- 1 cup Sweet Rice – https://amzn.to/2K93scS
- 3 and 1/2 cup Water
- 1/2 cup Milk – https://amzn.to/3nAumIi
- 1/4 cup Cocoa Powder – https://amzn.to/3hZMyKc
- 1/2 cup Nutella – https://amzn.to/39lVpC2
- 1/4 cup Sugar – https://amzn.to/2XxK9gu
- Dash of Salt – https://amzn.to/3qdPOnU
Steps
- Add Sweet Rice, Water, Milk, and Cocoa Powder to the pot
- Press SAUTE and wait for the pot to heat up
- Stir and dissolve the powder mixture
- Once the mixture is dissolved, press CANCEL
- Put the lid on, set to OATMEAL
- Cook for 25 minutes
- After 25 minutes of cooking, let it sit for about 10 minutes and depressurize
- Press CANCEL, open the lid, and mix
- Press SAUTE
- Add Nutella spread and sugar then mix
- Add milk or water to adjust the thickness
- Add some whipped cream or sugar when serving
