Steps
[spicy mayo dressing]
- Add Japanese Mayo, Sriracha, Rice Vinegar, Sugar, dash of Nanami (shichimi) togarashi, and sesame oil.
- Mix well and set aside.
[ahi poke
- In a separate bowl, add diced tuna sashimi, wakame (dried seaweed), onion (chopped), green onion, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, nanami (shichimi) togarashi, and salt.
- Toss and set aside.
[sushi rice]
- Cook 4 cups of Japanese rice.
- Add Sushi vinegar.
- Incorporate the sushi vinegar using a chopping motion. Do not mash the rice while mixing.
[sushi roll]
- Place a sheet of nori.
- Add sushi rice on top and spread evenly.
- Add roasted black sesame seeds.
- Add the fillings such as carrots (thinly sliced), cucumber, crab sticks, and ahi poke.
- Drizzle with spicy mayo.
- Roll the nori while holding the filling.
- Put some pressure to shape the Sushi Roll.
- Wrap in the parchment paper.
- Slice into half and serve!
