Steps
- Press Saute and press adjust to set to More (high heat)
- Apply cooking oil and wait for the pot to heat up
- Add pork ribs in the pot and sear it (season with salt and pepper) If you have a lot of meat, cook them in batch
- Once all the meat is cooked, set them aside
- Add Onion, ginger, garlic in the pot and saute
- While sauteing, add Sake (Japanese Rice Wine) and scrape the bottom to get the caramelized flavor
- Put back the cooked meat
- Add Honey, Soy Sauce, Mirin, Sugar, Rice Vinegar, and give a good stir
- Press Cancel, put the lid on and set to the Sealing position
- Set to Meat/Stew mode and set a timer for 20 minutes
- After 20 minutes of cooking, leave it in a Keep Warm for about 10 minutes
- Press Cancel, set to Venting position to depressurize and open the lid
- Set to Saute mode
- Add Sriracha
- Give a good stir and simmer for a bit and press cancel
- Ready to serve the Honey Pork Ribs with the rice
