How to make Ube Champorado using Instant Pot (Easy and Delicious)

If you are into Ube and if you love champorado, this would be a perfect dish for you. It is super simple to make especially if you use Instant Pot, you can pretty much dump the ingredients and do the cooking for you. Hope you give this yummy recipe a try. 🙂

  1. Add the rinsed sweet rice in the pot
  2. Add 1 can of Coconut Milk
  3. Add water and pinch of salt
  4. Put the lid on and close it. Set to Sealing position
  5. Set to Porridge and set the timer for 15 minutes
  6. Once the timer is done, keep it warm for additional 30 mins (for slow release)
  7. Press Cancel, set to Venting position (make sure Floating valve is down) then open the lid
  8. Press Saute and adjust to Normal heat
  9. Stir and make sure to scrape the bottom
  10. Add half of the can of Evaporated Milk and mix well
  11. Add Ube flavoring
  12. Mix well until incorporated
  13. Add the rest of Evaporated Milk
  14. Add additional water if it is too thick. (added 1 more cup of water in my case)
  15. Add Sugar (to taste)
  16. Give one last stir and serve with Ube Jam and Cheese on top
