Adobo is a very popular and traditional Filipino dish. There are various versions of Adobo. In this recipe, I am using liver to add body to the adobo and also rich with iron. If you love chicken liver, you will like this adobo.

Steps

  1. Saute garlic and onion
  2. Add chicken and continue to saute until the chicken is cooked (about 5 minutes)
  3. Add Bay Leaves
  4. Add water and put the lid on
  5. Simmer for 15 minutes in medium-low heat
  6. Add liver and cook for 2 minutes
  7. Add soy sauce and vinegar
  8. Set to medium heat and cook for 15 minutes or until sauce thickens
