How to Make Tasty Pancit Molo with Chicken Meat and Chicken Feet Recipe

Pancit Molo is a combination of pork dumping (wonton) and chicken soup. In this recipe, we will be using chicken meat as well as chicken feet to make the soup tastier. This is perfect for cold weather to keep your body warmed and great for feeding your family.

Ingredients

[Chicken Soup Base]

[Molo Dumpling]


Steps

[chicken soup base and chicken meat]

  1. Put chicken feet in the pot and bring it to a boil for 5 minutes or so
  2. Once boiled for 5 minutes or so, discard the water
  3. Put back the chicken feet in the pot together with chicken drumsticks
  4. Add 12 cups of water, salt and pepper and bring it to a boil
  5. Boil it for 35 to 40 minutes or until the chicken meat is softened
  6. Remove the chicken from the pot and shred the meat into small pieces

[Molo Dumpling]

  1. Combine ground pork, salt, pepper, flour, egg, garlic and onion well together
  2. Place a dumpling wrapper and place a small chunk of filling then wrap
  3. Molo dumplings are ready. Set it aside

Note: You may prepare pork dumplings ahead and freeze them up. You can pull them out from the freezer when you are cooking them.

[Saute]

  1. In a pan, add cooking oil
  2. Add garlic and onion to saute
  3. Add the shredded chicken meat
  4. Add fish sauce, chicken bouillon, pepper

[Soup assembly]

  1. Bring the chicken soup to a boil.
  2. Add in the sauteed chicken meat
  3. Add the Molo dumplings (make sure soup is boiling when adding)
    Note: Molo dumplings will float when it is cooked.
  4. Add the Wonton wrapper strips.
  5. Add the green onions
  6. Serve it!
