How to Make Carbonara Pasta Recipe

About This Dish

Carbonara pasta is a very simple dish and you can make your own version. For my version of Carbonara Pasta, I added green peas and mushrooms as additional toppings.

Ingredients:

3 tbsp olive oil

450g spaghetti pasta

6 eggs

1/2 Onion

1 pack of bacon

8 tbsp heavy cream

1 cup freshly grated parmigiano reggiano – Parmesan Cheese

1/2 green peas

5 pcs mushroom (optional)

Fresh ground black pepper and salt to taste

Steps:

[Sauce]

1. Add the eggs, parmesan cheese, heavy cream, salt and pepper and mix them together

[Pasta]

1. Boil water with salt and oil

2. Drop the pasta in. Boil for 10 minutes (check your pasta box for boiling instructions)

Note: Do not discard the pasta water as it will be used later

[Toppings]

1. In the pan, add some olive oil

2. Cook the bacon, onions

3 Add green peas and mushrooms as optional toppings

4. Once pasta is boiled, add in the pan

5. Add some pasta water, salt and pepper and mix them together

[Combine pasta and sauce]

1. Turn off the heat and add the sauce into pasta

2. Mix them together

3. Serve it
