How to make delicious and tender BEEF STEW Recipe using Instant Pot

Beef Stew is such an awesome meal it can go with Rice or Bread or you can just eat as is. Using Instant Pot, it helps to bring out the juiciness and tenderness of the meat. It is a very tasty meal and easy to make. Give it yourself a try!

Steps

Marination:

  1. Add soy sauce, knorr liquid seasoning, salt and pepper into meat and mix it well
  2. Transfer the meat into Ziploc, marinate for overnight

Cooking:

  1. Peel the potatoes and cut into cubes
  2. Cut the carrots into bite pieces
  3. Mince garlic and onions
  4. Transfer the marinated meat into a bowl
  5. Add all purpose flour in the bowl and mix well
  6. Prepare Instant Pot. Set to Saute Mode, and adjust to “More” (High Heat)
  7. Add Olive Oil and wait for the pot to heat up
  8. Add the meat and cook it until it turns brown. You can cook the meat by batch to make sure all meats are cooked
  9. Set aside the meat once it is cooked
  10. Add Olive Oil, drop the onions, garlic and saute
  11. Put back the meat in the pot and give a little bit of stir
  12. Add Tomato Paste, Red Wine, Chicken Stock
  13. Add water accordingly to adjust the sauce thickness to your preferences
  14. Add Oregano, Thyme and Bay Leaves. 
  15. Add Sugar and Beef cubes. You can crushed red pepper optionally
  16. Stir for couple of times
  17. Press Cancel, put the lid on and close it. Set to Sealing Position.
  18. Set to Meat / Stew and cook for 40 minutes
  19. Press Cancel and Set to Saute Mode
  20. Open the lid, add the potatoes, carrots, olives
  21. Simmer until potatoes are cooked
  22. Add Bell Pepper
  23. Add Salt and Pepper to taste. Adjust based on your preferences
  24. Serve it!
